I was there…
When you were scared to get on the elevator.
When you had the measles.
When you thought there were sharks at the bottom of swimming pools.
When you first realized some dolls look just like you.
When you fed the dog your eggs.
When you saw snow for the first time.
When you cried because your rabbit died.
When you didn’t want to share.
When you were accepted into that school.
When you snuck out of the house to buy a Big Mac Combo and Mom cooked dinner and rather than confess you sat down and ate…again.
When you were scared on your first day at every school.
When you brought home the man of your dreams, got married and graduated I was there.
