Pine Tree Artwork

Pine Tree Artwork

It’s been an extremely busy few months. I haven’t been around for a bit but still managed to sneak in time to create this pine tree artwork.

The season’s changed so quickly I can’t believe it’s already nearly the end of December. I’ve decided to show my appreciation for the pine trees with this artwork. After all, they do remind me that the trees and plants will eventually be green again. Also, one of my family members requested that I do a pine tree artwork way back in July. I promised to create a pine tree artwork closer to winter. Well, here we are, a few weeks into December and, I’m sharing my creation with everyone today!

While these aren’t your ordinary pine trees, I think they look pretty cool!

And they were relaxing to create. I just went with the flow, keeping in mind the overall shape of a pine tree. There were a few moments where I wondered if it would turn out the way I wanted it to. But I decided to stick with it! You should try it out, especially since it’s so fun to do. All you have to do is go with the flow. I also found that the wilder my scribbles were the more realistic the trees looked.

Here’s a shading tip:

Place an eraser or any small object on one corner of your paper. It will remind you where the sun would be shining from. Then all you have to do is darken the scribbles on the opposite side of your evergreen. I’m sure you can tell where the sun was shining from in my artwork. The best thing about trying this pine tree artwork is that you’ll have a picture to frame or give away to a loved one for this gift-giving season.

Here’s the video, watch and Enjoy!

Have a wonderful day, stay well and Season’s Greetings to you all!

I figured it's important that I explain why I chose the Palm tree instead of the Pine tree. Both are beautiful and similar in one way. They both bend with the storms that pass, but still stand. This blog is just that. "Its me, still standing!" I now a make a pledge to very often find things to write about and always put an interesting spin on how I write about them. Hint hint...there will always be humour attached. This blog will be for those who like to read and see the fun and adventure in life. Not keen on talking about it. So I will write about it! Let's go!
